If you’re a fan of Bioshock, and you haven’t read the Rapture book yet…
Do it. Do it NOW.
Books based on video games are usually crappy - I’m nervous about ever buying one, but Rapture can be added to the short list of great video game novels, right next to the Gears of War series.
Not only is it pretty well written and engaging, it also fills in a lot of the holes in Bioshock’s backstory that the game didn’t cover in detail. It’s definitely worth reading.
